Our owner, David Alwan, has been involved with the family meat business since he was born and struck out on his own to target the gift market in 1999. Echo Valley Meats and Cancer Center for Healthy Living are joining together to benefit The Cancer Center for Healthy Living in the historical Cornerstone Building located in downtown Peoria at 321 NE Madison Ave. Enjoy "The Game" on big screens, Great food from Echo Valley Catering, Awesome door prizes and cash bar. $30 individual tickets or 2 for $50 will get you in the door. Gates open at 4pm.

David Alwan was born and raised in the meat business in Peoria, Illinois. His family's meat business, Alwan and Sons Meats, recently built a new facility in Peoria, Illinois. David left Alwan and Sons in 1998 to establish Echo Valley Meats as a wholesale meat producer and to establish a gift catalog and website.

Dave and Dawn, his wife, have two children, Jessica and Jordan. They live on their farm, Echo Valley Farms, where they raise angus cattle and board horses.
