Echo Valley Meats FAQs

Are your animals corn fed or grass fed?

Our animals are corn fed. This creates richer marbling, a more tender bite, and the classic flavor profile our customers love. Corn feeding also ensures a consistent diet year round, which leads to reliable quality in every cut.

Are your animals free range?

Our animals are not free range. They are raised in controlled, low-stress environments where we can closely monitor their health, diet, and welfare. This helps us maintain the quality and consistency Echo Valley Meats is known for.

Does all the meat ship frozen?

Yes, all meat ships frozen. Flash freezing locks in peak flavor, tenderness, and freshness. Each order is packed with insulation and dry ice so it arrives cold and safe to enjoy.

How do I apply the Ham Glaze to ham?

Simply open the glaze packet up using your hand and dry rub all of the glaze all over the top Portion of the ham everywhere before baking or Re-heating the Ham. This way the glaze gets backed into the ham itself.

How long should I thaw my ham?

We recommend thawing your ham in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days before serving. Slow refrigeration thawing ensures the best texture and preserves the natural juices.

Why are your hams the best?

Our hams are natural juice hams. This gives you a more authentic, flavorful, and premium product with the rich texture you expect from high-quality ham.
